IL 9 E IL 10 APRILE IL “PORTE APERTE” AD INGRESSO GRATUITO ALL’OFFICINA DEL VAPORE

Il tanto atteso appuntamento è arrivato, il nuovo “Porte Aperte” della Fondazione FS è fissato per sabato 9 e domenica 10 aprile 2022 al Deposito Officina Rotabili Storici di Pistoia, da anni chiuso al pubblico.

I cancelli dell’impianto di Piazza Dante Alighieri 2 saranno aperti nei due giorni dalle ore 09.00 alle 17.30. Il Deposito Officina Rotabili Storici di Pistoia, il più importante sito per la manutenzione e la riparazione delle vecchie locomotive a vapore, apre le porte dell’impianto ai visitatori esterni.

La cerimonia di apertura è prevista alle ore 11.10 di sabato 9 aprile.

Come nelle precedenti edizioni, i visitatori potranno accedere nel cuore delle officine dove le maestranze della Fondazione FS effettuano la manutenzione alle antiche locomotive a vapore.
Tra le numerose attrattività previste, show di locomotive a vapore sulla piattaforma girevole, visite guidate nei cantieri, mostre fermodellistiche e fotografiche. Sarà presente anche lo shop della Fondazione FS, allestito a bordo del carro “Carnera”. L’iniziativa è realizzata in collaborazione con l’Associazione convenzionata Italvapore che guiderà i visitatori alla scoperta del Deposito Officina Rotabili Storici di Pistoia.
Previste anche delle corsette con locomotiva a vapore sulla mitica ferrovia porrettana, tra la Stazione di Pistoia e quella di Piteccio.
L’ingresso al Deposito Officina Rotabili Storici di Pistoia è GRATUITO
